SS13 Tutorial Part #3 Understanding you'r HUD

When you start you will see multiple buttons from bottom left to top right they are: Inventory we will go more in depth with this in the next tutorial. Then the hand switcher click it and you switch hands. Then the drop item button. Then the throw item button with an object in hand click throw item then click where to throw it. Then the pull button right click an object then click pull when you want to stop click the pull button. Then the intent buttons ill talk about them on Tut #5.Then the run walk button click the button to toggle running. Then the resist button that removes handcuffs after 2 minutes of you not moving. Above that are the rest sleep button they help heal. Above that is the health and temperatures icons you want to be 100 health and green temperature. Above that is the fire/toxin icons if they are highlighted GET OUT OF THERE NOW. Then O2 and internals if O2 is red that means no oxygen if internals are on that means you get oxygen anywhere. Above that the targeting icon aim for the head for a knock out legs to slow them groin to well HURT BAD and arms to reduce the damge the hurt you with.

SS13 Tutorial Part #2 Entrance to the game

When you are done setting up your character you will "Join Game" or "Declare Ready"by selecting the option. you can only Join Game when it has already started and you get to choose a job from a list of available ones also you cannot be a Traitor, Syndie, Wizard ect. Declare Ready means the round has not started yet and you will be whatever is available based on your Occupation Preferences if you have none it will choose a random and available. (Note: If you join game you will spawn at the Arrival Shuttle if you Declare Ready you will start at the place you work at.)

SS13 Tutorial Part #1 Setting up your charecter

When you first open up a server you will probably think "WOAH" well you will see The Rules and The Change Log. READ THE RULES! After that you should "Setup Character" from top to bottom it will read:

The Syndicate option is if you want to be a bad guy DO NOT DO THIS until you have played SS13 for a month.

Load Setup is to load your saved setup using the Save Setup option
Reset Setup is to reset your saved setup

Hello my name is Jake i am a fan of SS13 (Space Station 13) its a simple and complicated yet very rewarding game,about space....and a station. It can be found on Byond.com you have to download the manager for the games. There are many games but in my opinion SS13 is the best game. ALL OF THIS IS FREE! SS13 will begin after you press the,well,play now button it will have to download but be patient it is worth it. I recommend Gibbed #5 as it has a low amount of players, or TG13 which has a lower amount of players and is a bit more role play.
